Clooney and Freeman, the best actors of the year according to U.S. criticism

George Clooney and Morgan Freeman were the best actors of 2009 for the National Association of Film Critics United States, which announced Friday their prizes and also recognized as best director Clint Eastwood by Invictus.

The association handed out the award for best leading between Morgan and Clooney for their respective interpretations of former South African president Nelson Mandela at Invictus and a solitary executive Up in the Air. That last film, the Canadian director Jason Reitman, was named best film of darkfall gold.

That film led the critics’ awards with a total of four awards that complete the honor of best adapted screenplay and Anna Kendrick won the best supporting actress, a category in which some experts expected to see as the winner of aion kinah, for his role in Nine, the Rob Marshall.

The critics, who handed their awards on 12 January at a gala in New York, selected as worthy of the award to best cast of actors to the characters of the film It’s Complicated, by Nancy Meyers, where they share stage Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin.

As best documentary of the year, was awarded The Cove, Louie Psihoyos, which concerns the killing of dolphins in Japan, but also stood out among the best five documentaries of 2009, Crude Joe Berlinger, who narrates the proceedings that the indigenous of Ecuador fought for fifteen years with the oil company Chevron.
