The vampire Twilight saga was the big winner of the awards of People’s Choice Awards fans released on Wednesday at a ceremony in Los Angeles where they were actors Johnny Depp and Sandra Bullock.
The stories of the supernatural young novelist Stephenie Meyer brought to the big screen by the popular Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner deserved four awards, best picture, darkfall gold, franchising and Favorite Male Newcomer, who went to the hands of Lautner.
Other category winners were Hugh Jackman film and Jim Carrey, who achieved the titles of darkfall items and favorite comedy, respectively, while Miley Cyrus won the award for actress. Up Damn Bastard and conquered the categories of independent film and favorite animated film, respectively.
In music took the main awards pop country singers Taylor Swift and Keith Urban, who won in the category of favorite artists, while Lady Gaga won two honorable mentions, that of best new darkfall power leveling and favorite pop artist.
The People’s Choice Awards, which fans voted via the Internet, were relayed to the U.S. by CBS and were presented by actress Queen Latifah.
